"Teotihuacan: Expansion Period" is a modular expansion for "Teotihuacan: City" This expansion transforms Teotihuacan into an empire, extending its reach beyond previous boundaries. Key features include: Obsidian, a new "wild" resource superior to others, facilitating special actions in other modules and accelerating gameplay; it's included on the new resource collection action boards. The Mansion, a fresh action board, takes the place of the Palace board, offering ways to ascend temples and strengthen workers. Altars and Shamans introduce a novel aspect to the game, filling previously vacant spaces between action boards with Altars that host Shamans. These Shamans move counterclockwise, executing potent actions. The Empire board, a new addition, presents diverse prospects and merges smoothly with the original game. The Conquest board, which is compatible with prior expansions, allows players to dispatch warriors to discover new territories and convert them into settlers on the Avenue of the Dead. The Advanced Teotibot now includes additional features, ensuring compatibility with all new content. The game is suitable for 1-4 players, with a playtime of 90-120 minutes, and is designed for individuals aged 12 and above.
