Appropriately this design is stitched using Eco Vita Naturally Dyed Organic Wool Thread and a pre-printed 28 count linen base. The kit includes everything you need to immerse yourself in a relaxing embroidery experience using DMC's most sustainable thread yet. The Eco Vita Thread included in this kit is a 100% organic, non-mulesed wool that has been dyed using infusions of completely natural ingredients such as walnut, rhubarb, indigo and juniper. Crewel wool thread is used as a single strand and cannot be divided. It is approximately the same thickness as three strands of Six-Strand Embroidery Floss. Its fluffy quality adds softness, texture and a three-dimensional quality to needlework.
