Designed for complex 3D printing needs, the MakerBot METHOD 3D Printer is bridging the gap between consumer and industrial 3D printing. It features a Dual Performance Extruder system, utilizing the included MakerBot Model 1 and Support 2 Extruders. Combined with the 140°F (60°C) enclosed build chamber, the METHOD is compatible with PLA and PETG filaments. For support filaments, the METHOD can use PVA filament.The METHOD features a metal frame that runs the entire length of the body to offset flexing. Combined with the spring steel build plate, the METHOD provides a true flat surface for better part accuracy and a reduced chance of failure. There are also two dry-sealed material bays at the base of the METHOD to store your filaments in optimal conditions. The 5" display has a 640 x 480 resolution and supports touchscreen controls. You'll be able to navigate menus and settings as well as monitor your print jobs. The METHOD allows you to print via 10/100 Mb/s Fast Ethernet RJ45 LAN, USB 2.0 Type-A, and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n).
