Waxed Canvas is the perfect material for that durable and waterproof bag.This 16oz canvas is coated with bees wax which is a stiffer more structured medium than our paraffin waxed canvas. Waxed canvas will develop marks with folds or scuffs which is not a flaw.

Pieces are shipped folded but any unwanted markings can be removed by using a blow dryer to heat the effected areas. 

*Note- this canvas is extremely structured but warming it up will make it more pliable

Care Instructions: 

Waxed canvas should not be machine washed or dry cleaned and should be kept away from hot water and harsh detergents because that will remove the wax coating. When spots occur, use a damp rag or soft bristle brush to gently buff out any stained area.

Because of its waxed surface it should be water repellent so you won’t have many issues with spots or staining typically.

If you want to reset the canvas (remove any of the distressed marks) you can just apply heat with a blow dryer 😊
